Obituary
Wynona Dolores Russell Cruz, 76, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice House. Ms. Cruz was born on March 13, 1947 in Arkansas to Sam Gene Russell and Mary Francis Markham Russell. Wynona is survived by two sons Rudy Cruz, Jr. and Antonio Cruz (Elizabeth) both of Olive Branch, MS and one daughter Linda Perez of Grand Prairie, TX. She is also survived by one brother Larry Russell of Genoa, AR. Ms. Cruz is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Austin, Juanio, Eva, Selena, and Daniel and 11 great grandchildren, Alize, Angie, Alyssa, Neyo, Nevaeh, Mateo, Christian, Corinna, Evangelina, Sebastian and Kamilla. Wynona was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers Carlton Russell, Bobby Russell, and Gordon Russell.
Wynona loved watching The Waltons, Little House One The Prairie, The Price is Right, and The Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles and baking.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Associated Family Funeral and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Cruz family in their time of need.
