It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willis "Bill" Beauvais, Jr., 76, of Nettleton, who peacefully departed this life on February 27, 2024, at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Bill was born on February 13, 1948, to Willis Beauvais, Sr. and Eunice Cook.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hopkins (Ryan), his sons Bronson Beauvais and Brandon Beauvais, his sister Joy Hazen (Ken), and his brother Rick Beauvais (Terri). He also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Judy Knox.
Bill was a compassionate soul who found joy in serving others. He was a proud member of the ASPCA, dedicating his time and resources to the welfare of animals. His faith was an integral part of his life, and he was an active member of Cornerstone Church in Tupelo, where he found solace and community.
Among his passions, Bill had a special affection for his canine companions, Tyke, Gypsy, and Mouse. He found immense joy in their company and cherished the moments spent with them, especially during trips to the dog park.
A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at a later date. In this time of mourning, Associated Family Funeral Home of Tupelo is honored to support and serve the Beauvais family. Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
