Todd Snipes, a devoted father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 12, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on December 17, 1964, Todd lived a life filled with love, compassion, and cherished memories. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate the incredible person he was and the profound impact he had on our lives.
Todd was a loving father to his daughter, Taylor Beth Scroggins of Saltillo, and his son, Tyler Snipes of Tupelo. He took immense pride in his role as a father, guiding and supporting his children with unwavering love and dedication. Todd's children were his greatest source of joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Survived by his father, Wade Snipes, Todd leaves behind a family that loved him dearly. His sisters, Ann Snipes Chambliss of Tupelo and Tammie Snipes of Randolph, and brothers, Aaron (AL) of Tupelo and Luther (Doug) Snipes of Fulton, shared a strong bond with Todd, and their memories together will forever be treasured. Todd also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness and filled his life with love and laughter. Todd is also survived by his special friend Sherrie Cheeks.
Todd is preceded in death by his mother, Addie Mae Powell Snipes, as well as his grandfathers, Lamar Snipes and Earnest Powell, and grandmothers, Olene Snipes and Mary Anna Powell.
Todd had a passion for raising pigeons and chickens, finding solace and fulfillment in the nurturing and care of these creatures. It was a reflection of his gentle and compassionate nature, as he found joy in tending to the needs of these animals.
Visitation for Todd will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo, MS. A funeral service to honor his life will take place at the Associated Family Funeral Home Chapel of Memories on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation commencing at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
