Thomas "Tom" Harold Campbell, 75, of Pontotoc, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. Born on August 23, 1949, in Mississippi to the late Harold and Pat Arnold Campbell, Tom lived a life full of dedication, service, and passion.
A proud Army veteran, Tom served his country with honor before returning home to pursue his education. He graduated from the University of Mississippi, a milestone that set the foundation for his future endeavors.
Tom was a man of the outdoors, finding joy in fishing, gardening, and spending time in nature. His hands were skilled in the art of woodcarving, a hobby that led him to create over 100 unique walking canes, each a testament to his creativity and craftsmanship.
Tom is survived by his son, Justin Wilson of Oxford; his sisters, Libby Lee of Pontotoc, Carolyn Campbell of Madison, MS, Carla Terry of Little Rock, AR, and Kay Tackitt of Pontotoc; and his brother, Johnny Campbell of Pontotoc. He also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Campbell.
At this time, no services are planned. The family will find solace in their memories of Tom, a man who touched many lives with his warmth and kindness.
The Campbell family is being served by Associated Family Funeral Home, who are honored to assist during this time of need.
