Theresa Ann McCaine

Theresa Ann McCaine, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night, January 26, 2025. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden passing.

Theresa was born on May 4, 1966, in Fort Rooker, Alabama, to Junior McCaine and Patsy Williams. From an early age, Theresa brought joy to those around her with her humor and love for life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, always ready to make them laugh and share in her vibrant energy.

Her love for music, especially Elvis Presley, often had her singing and dancing, bringing smiles to everyone in the room. Theresa also found happiness in  coloring and drawing, and she cherished watching Disney movies, particularly when surrounded by children whose company she adored. Her ability to be a "light in a dark world" made her an irreplaceable presence in the lives of her loved ones.

Theresa is preceded in death by her loving mother, Patsy Williams, and her brother, Lou McCaine. She is survived by her father, Junior McCaine; her siblings, Larry McCaine (Shena) and Melissa McCaine (Derek); and Taylor Hughes, all of Ecru, Mississippi. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Alexzandrea McCaine, Victoria McCaine Parker (Justin Parker), Elisha McCaine, Alexis Parchman, Annaleigh McCaine, and Jeffrey Parchman, as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles with whom she treasured spending time.

Services to honor Theresa’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Sand Springs Baptist Church, located at 9624 Hwy 346, Thaxton, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. and continue until the time of the service with Rev. William Dillion officiating the service.

Pallbearers will be Justin Parker, Jeffrey Parchman Jr, Alexis Parchman, Jeffery Parchman Sr, Jamie Russell, and Eddie Hughes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sands Spring Church. Associated Family Funeral Home of Tupelo is honored to serve the McCaine family during this difficult time.

Theresa’s light will live on in the memories of those who loved her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
