Saltillo Steven Lynn Whitesel, 65 passed on Monday Jan 25, 2021 at the North MS Medical Center. Steve was born to the late Russell Whitesel and Dorothy Ann Metheny Whitesel in the state of Virginia on August 20, 1955. No services are planned at this time. He is survived by his loving wife Sherrie Marie Shifflett-Whitesel of Saltillo,MS, daughter Holly Whitesel-Gavin (Keane) of WI, son Matthew Clinton Whitesel of Saltillo,MS, brothers Dirk Whitesel (Sue) of Virginia, Gary Whitesel (Susie) of Virginia, and Tommy Whitesel (Betsy) of Virginia. Steven worked as a printer/manager for PPI of Tupelo for many years. He was in the MSBL league in Atlanta for 10-15 years, Coached Softball for about 8 years, a member of the Bass Fishing Club of Georgia, Loved collecting an assortment of treasures, huge animal advocate, and was a musician and sound engineer. We are proud to serve this family and we send out our condolences and prayers to the entire Whitesel family.
