Shannon Ray Waldo

Shannon Ray Waldo, 55, of Pontotoc, Mississippi, passed away on September 13, 2024. Born on November 15, 1968, in Mississippi, Shannon was the beloved son of Billy and Codene Matkins Waldo.

He is survived by his daughters, Abigail Michelle Waldo and Erica Dawn Goforth, his sister Ramona Smith, his brother Spencer Waldo, and eight cherished grandchildren. Shannon was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Katrina Waldo, and his nephew Jamie Smith.

Shannon had a passion for exploring with his metal detector, studying the Bible, and working with wood, creating beautiful pieces with his hands. His gentle spirit and love for his hobbies will be remembered by those who knew him.

At this time, no services are planned. The Waldo family is being cared for by Associated Family Funeral Home, who is honored to support them during this time of loss.
