Ronald Dale Swick, Sr.

Ronald Dale Swick, Sr., 85, of Nettleton, passed away on October 23, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on July 18, 1939, in Illinois, to the late Merritt and Matilda Sjurset Swick, Ronald was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald Swick, Jr., James Ketterer, Joe Ketterer, and Shane Swick; his sister, Norma Owens; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Wesley, James, Merritt, George, and Robert; his sisters Margaret, Dorothy, Loraine, and Mona; and his grandchildren, Destiny and Caleb Swick.

Ronald found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing dominoes and cards, and enjoyed fishing when his health allowed. Mr. Swick was a veteran and served in the Army. He was a truck driver by occupation. His warmth and love of life will be remembered by all who knew him. 

Though no services are planned at this time, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Associated Family Funeral Home of Tupelo is honored to assist the Swick family in their time of need.
