Mr. Olie Earl Foy, age 65, of Baldwyn, passed away on April 30, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on July 27, 1959, to John L. Foy and Omie Lee.
Earl is survived by his wife, Joanne Foy; his daughter, Tiffany Snow (Sederick); his sons, Tito Shannon, Anthony Lipsey (Kristie), and Curtis Lipsey; his sisters, Adlene Blair, Christy Grice, and Jennifer Finnie; his brothers, Lee Foy and John Gordon; his step-mother Annie Foy, nine beloved grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce Kohlhiem Sr.; his uncles, Walter Foy, David Foy, Bobby Foy, and Tommy Lee Cunningham; and his aunt, Melba Foy.
He was member of Sherman Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sherman. An employee of Lamar's BBQ in Baldwyn, Earl found joy in cooking and loved playing basketball.
A wake will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, beginning at 12:00 P.M., followed by funeral services at 1:00 P.M., all at Sherman Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sherman. Reverend Darryl Rucker will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Porter Memorial Park Cemetery in Tupelo.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Kohlhiem, Jr., Willie Foy, Micalynn Cameron, Kemari Foy, Robert Pirtle, and Melvin Foy. His brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
