Norma Jean (Waggoner) Gardenhire

Norma Jean Waggoner Gardenhire, 75, of Tupelo, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.

She was born on November 30, 1949, in Michigan, to the late Eugene and Ruth Wilson Waggoner. Norma had a warm spirit and a kind heart, and she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters, Faith and Christie; her brothers, Eugene, Thomas, and Gary; her stepson, Vance Gardenhire; and her special friend, Jan Columbus. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed Wesley Gardenhire; her parents; her sisters, Ada and Elsie; and her brothers, David and John.

Norma found joy in attending Word of Life Church in Tupelo whenever her health allowed. She also loved traveling, playing solitaire on her computer, and connecting face-to-face with family members through technology.

No public services will be held at this time.
