Merlene Joy (Caulkins) Young

TREMONT:  Mrs Merlene Caulkins Young, age 67, passed Thursday the 12th of May, 2022 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.  Mrs young was born on Feb 7, 1955 in Ms to Jerry Caulkins and Sandra McKinney Caulkins.  Merlene loved her plants, gardening, and woodworking. She leaves her husband Jesse Young of Tremont, 2 daughters Amy Jean Blank (Ryan) of Lacrosse, Wi, Candace Olson of Arcadia, Wi, 2 Sons Shannon Olson of Huntington Beach, Ca, and  Alan Olson (Amy) of Sparta, Wi, her mother, Sandra Booth of Tremont.  She also leaves 9 siblings, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. She was preceded by her Father Jerry Caukins, Foster Parents Ray and Jan Raasch and 3 brothers. Services are at Calvary Worship and Praise Church in Tremont on Friday, May 20 2022 at 2pm.  Visitation will be at 11 am until service time on Friday.  Our family at Associated are very honored and grateful to have been chosen to serve the Young family.
