Mrs Mary JoAnn Alexander Carter age 79 passed at the North Ms Med Center Dec 22, 2021. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and a dedicated christian who really loved God. Mrs Carter was born to Ed Alexander and Ollie Reed Alexander in New Albany, MS on Nov 12, 1942. She leaves 2 daughters Brenda Smith of Pine Grove and Melissa Lambert (Anthony) of Iuka. She also leaves Grandchildren Blake Smith Bishop, Hunter Lee Givens and great grandchildren Hadley Wagers, Grant Nolen and Reeves Bishop and 1 Brother Eddie Alexander of Iuka. She was preceded by her parents. All Services will be private.
