Kathleen Rene Fildes, 52, of Nevada, passed away in 2024 in Tupelo. She was born December 1, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Stacey Fildes and Victoria Miller.
Kathleen was a former truck driver with CR England and was known for her adventurous spirit and ability to navigate the road with confidence. She had many talents, but those closest to her knew her best as an amazing cook who could make something out of nothing. Kathleen also had an incredible memory for directions—if she had been somewhere once, she could always find her way back.
She had a love for collecting clown figurines, a fondness for big hair, and a special place in her heart for Celine Dion’s music. Her sense of humor and outlook on life were often reflected in the phrases she loved to say, including “oh sakes” and “if it wasn’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all.”
Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Kristina Ramirez, Kari Ramirez, and Kyra Parish (Neptune); her sister, Theresa Mossey; her brother, Brian Fildes; and her cherished grandchildren, Korbyn, Kaydence, Kymi, and Delilah. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Kent and Julene Hokanson; and other beloved family members.
No local services are planned at this time. Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fildes family during their time of loss.
