Karen Nosal Thomas, a beloved presence in Shannon, MS, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 72. Born in West Virginia on January 29, 1951, she was the daughter of Walter Nosal and Shirley Tabor.
Karen's life was a testament to the enduring power of family, love, and strength. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she shared. A devoted mother, Karen is survived by her daughters Melanie Thomas, Amber Thomas, and Terra Thomas, as well as her sons Shawn Martin and John Thomas, Jr. Her nurturing spirit extended to her sister, Dawnella Saxman, and her brothers Andy Nosal and Bernie Nosal.
Karen's impact resonated further through the lives of her 11 grandchildren, who were the recipients of her unwavering love and guidance. Her wisdom and love will continue to guide them through life's journey.
Though she is preceded in death by her father, Walter Nosal, Karen's memory lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her spirit of kindness, warmth, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
