John L Greene

John L. Greene of South Carolina, age 64, passed in his hotel room while passing through Tupelo to return home from vacation. He is survived by his wife Melinda Jane Junclaus Greene, three sons John Lee Greene of Columbia, SC, Justin Carl Greene of Columbia, SC, and Michael Earnest Greene of Elgin, SC, three brothers Roy Russell "Rusty" Greene Jr. (Valerie) of Columbia, SC, James Murray Greene (Maria) of Columbia, SC, and Gene Greene (Kim) of Elgin, SC, and four grandchildren. He was proceeded by his parents Roy Russell Greene Sr. and June Howell Greene, his grandfather Howell Greene and his grandmother Sally Duke. He was employed as a master barber before he became ill and a veteran. John was an Atlanta Braves and South Carolina Game Cocks fan. He loved to travel and fish. Associated Family Funeral Home is proud to assist the Greene family in their time of need.  Memorial services will be held at a later date with burial in National Cemetery.
