John Louis Acker, 77, of Guntown, passed away on April 18, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Born on July 19, 1947, in Wisconsin, John was the son of Irvin and Beatrice Witte Acker. He built a career rooted in dedication and expertise, last working in Engineering with LSI. A man of many talents, John had a passion for woodworking and a deep appreciation for vintage cars.
John was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Guntown, where his faith and fellowship were central parts of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Hauck; his daughter, Kimberly Acker; his son, Scott Acker (Amy); his sister, Patty Loebel (Robin); his cherished grandson, William Robert Acker; and his niece, Teresa Smid. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Guntown to honor John’s life and legacy starting with dinner being served at 6:00 P.M. and the service following.
