James Paul Taylor age 70 passed away at his residence on Wed, Dec 14, 2022. He was born Sept 24, 1952 in Memphis, Tn to Morgan and Joan Dillard Taylor, Paul was a barber at Central Barber Shop in Tupelo, and a member of the Baptist Church. He loved gardening, duck hunting before he became sick and had lots of dear friends who he loved to visit with at the barber shop, and a talented musician. Funeral Services with viewing will be held on Saturday Dec 17, 2022 at 2pm in The Tupelo Chapel of Memories/Associated Family Funeral Home, 109 Rankin Blvd Extd, Midtown Tupelo with public visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow in the Family Plot at Sherman Cemetery, Blue Springs. He is survived by his sons, Austin and Will Taylor both of Blue Springs, 2 Sisters Mary Taylor Bell (Ronnie), Linda Rakestraw both of Tupelo, 1 brother Everett Taylor of Sherman and 1 grand daughter Madeliene Taylor of Tupelo. He was preceded by his parents, a sister in law Peggy Taylor wife of Everett, and a brother in law Mike Rakestraw, husband of Linda.
