Gladys Arlene Heller Frantom, age 90, of New Albany, passed away peacefully at Sanctuary Hospice House on January 30, 2024. She was born on January 12, 1934, in Michigan to Roy and Roberta Heller.
Gladys is survived by her daughters Roxan Seabert of Hillsdale, Michigan, Brenda Wolfe of Tekonsha, Michigan, and Cathy Annis of Jackson, Michigan, and one son Terry Frantom of New Albany, MS. She is also remembered fondly by her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Roberta Heller, and her siblings Mildred Halstead, Mary Lou Burkhart, Russel Heller, and Lewis Heller.
Ms. Gladys was known for her kind and lovable nature, touching the lives of those around her with warmth and compassion. Her legacy of love and generosity will be cherished by her family and friends.
Gladys found joy in simple pleasures. She loved exploring flea markets, finding hidden treasures and stories within each unique item. The outdoors held a special place in her heart, and she enjoyed gardening, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Country music was the soundtrack to her life, filling her days with melody and rhythm. Her affinity for horses and dogs showcased her connection to animals, bringing her comfort and companionship.
In their time of grief, the Frantom family is being served with honor and compassion by Associated Family Funeral Home. The memories of Ms. Gladys's vibrant spirit and gentle soul will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
