Edward John Hosking, 83, of Saltillo, Mississippi, passed away on December 29, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on March 3, 1941, in Davenport Plymouth, England, Edward was the son of William John Hosking and Kathleen Bulley Hosking.
Edward dedicated his life to his work as a Maritime Salvage Master, a career that fueled his passion for adventure and took him around the world. A true citizen of the globe, Edward was an avid traveler who cherished the experiences and challenges that came with his work.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alexandra Campbell Hosking; his children, Rachel Hosking, Karen Archibald (Steven), and John Best Hosking; his sisters, Noreen Hill and Valerie Roberts; and his beloved grandson, Liam Hosking. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Eileen Lloyd, and his brothers Peter Hosking and William Hosking.
At this time, no services are planned. The Hosking family finds comfort in the many memories of Edward’s vibrant life and legacy.
