Donald Neal Walker

Donald Neal Walker, the son of the late Leroy and Willie Mae Walker, born on December 28, 1963. He departed this life on Tuesday February 28, 2023, at his home in Henderson, TN. Neal grew up in Selmer, TN in which he was a member of Prospect Church. He attended school in the McNairy County School System and was a graduate of McNairy Central High School class of 1983. While attending school at McNairy Central, Neal was the top scorer on McNairy’s first boys’ team to reach the state tournament in 1983. Neal “Sky” finished his career at McNairy Central High School with 2,518 points, the most in school history. After MCHS, Neal attended Lambuth University in Jackson, TN for 2 years. He worked at Aqua Glass, City Lumber Company, Timmy Whitley, and Redmon Asphalt. Neal loved and cherished his family, friends, and loved ones. Neal was also preceded in death by his parents, special friend Shelia Lusk; his son Trane A. Robinson; two brothers James ‘Moose’ Walker, Roy Lynn Walker; and one nephew Kenny Walker. Neal leaves to cherish his memories: his son Tarik ‘T.J.’ (Alexis) Robinson, granddaughter Makenzie Robinson, grandson Jacob Brown, five sisters Dorothy (Ed) Stackens, Leverne Surratt, Doris Bingham, Angela (Sam) Robinson, and Ann Walker, two brothers Mike Walker and Shawn (Cher-Rhonda) Walker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Prospect Church in Selmer, TN.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the McNairy County High School Gym with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Our family at Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to be chosen to serve the Walker family in their time of need.
