Debra Kay Akers was born on September 22, 1960 in Paris, France to Joel and Shelba Akers. She passed away April 16, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her mom, Shelba Akers. Debra was survived by her husband Richard Broadway; daughters Amanda Wilborn, Tia Goodwin, and Adrien McCollum (stepdaughter); Sisters Jeanette Pacovski, Annette Tuchton, Donna Oliver, and Robin Fields.
