David Nathanial Dunnagan, 58, of Marietta, passed away on July 22, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on July 20, 1966, in Illinois to Larry and Verla Dean Robbins Dunnagan, David was a beloved member of his family and a friend to many.
David's life was filled with the simple joys that brought him happiness. He had a deep love for movies, video games, and collecting model cars. He was a passionate fan of wrestling and enjoyed watching "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Star Wars." Above all, David cherished his family, including the grandchildren of his long-time partner, Lela Floyd, Kisha Moore Roseberry and Amber Moore, and their children Elijah, Addie, Aybree, Hatley, and Gentry. His heart was full of love for them, and he took great pride in being a part of their lives.
David is survived by his cousins Patricia Teuton, Phyllis Godsey, Harry Robbins, Elaine Wilson, Shearl Pardue, and Kevin Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Wanda Jane Ivey, and his long-time partner, Lela Floyd.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo, MS. A funeral service to honor David's life will follow at 2:00 P.M.
