David Wayne Barr

David Wayne Barr, age 62, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on October 17, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. Born on May 13, 1962, in Georgia, David was the son of Jerry Barr and Shirley Ann Hurst Barr.

A former diesel mechanic, David was known for his hardworking spirit and dedication to his trade. He is survived by his children David William Barr, Melanie Barr, David Wayne Barr, Jr., Brian William Barr, and Jade Barr, his sister Susie Barr of Phenix City, AL and Vicki Eversman and brother Bruce Barr and his ex-wife Barbara Barr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Shirley Barr, and his son Damien Barr.
