Cynthia Jean (Wood) Dunlap

Cynthia Jean Wood Dunlap, 66, of Tupelo, passed away on July 9, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. Born on October 24, 1958, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Mary Lyons.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Katelynn Wood (Nick); her sons, Cody Wood, Romiell Dunlap (Ariel), and Stephan Dunlap (Jatara); her sister, Lisa; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dunlap; her mother; her brothers, David and Bud; and her sisters, Debbie Tackett and Judy Zinn.

Cynthia loved to bowl, fish, and ride the snowmobile. She had a deep affection for her pets and family, always showing immense kindness and a big heart.

Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo. Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wood and Dunlap families in their time of need.
