Curtis “Ronnie” Edward Turner, 69, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Batesville, Mississippi.
Curtis was born on October 7, 1956, in Mississippi to the late Titus Turner and Mary Ann Nance Turner. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After completing his military service, Curtis spent many years working as a truck driver, a career that reflected his hardworking nature and independent spirit.
Curtis will be remembered as someone who appreciated the simple things in life. In his earlier years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
He leaves behind his sons, Curtis Turner and Chanukal Turner, both of Canton, Ohio. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Turner of Columbus, Mississippi; his brothers, Titus Turner of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Charles Dickerson of Maryland; and his grandchildren.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Dennis Turner.
No services are planned at this time.
