Cherie Martin Obituary

Cherie Marie Martin, age 57, of Okolona, passed away on February 20, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. She was born on April 11, 1966, in Texas to Henry Joseph Boudreaux and Joyce May Bourgeois Boudreaux. Cherie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dean McCombs, her daughters Brooke Martin (Gary Lily) of Wimberly, TX, Jessica McComb of New Mexico, and her son Gage Dempster of Lubbock, TX. Cherie is also survived by her sisters Debra Pfister (Kent) of St. Rose, LA, Kim Boudreaux (Troy) of Covington, LA, and Karen Robert (Dwayne) of Pensacola, FL. Additionally, she leaves behind nine adoring grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Cherie was preceded in death by her son, Perry Martin, Jr., her parents, Henry and Joyce Boudreaux, and her sister, Ronda Page. Although she has left this earthly realm, her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

Cherie had a passion for life and found joy in the simplest of pleasures. A devoted New Orleans Saints fan, she cheered on her team with unwavering loyalty. She also found solace and happiness in the calming activity of coloring and cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services held at this time. The Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo is honored to serve the family of Cherie Martin during their time of need. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her soul find eternal peace.
