In Loving Memory of Rudale "Dale" Holmes McMillen
Rudale "Dale" Holmes McMillen, 69, of Mantachie, Mississippi, passed away on March 13, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on February 16, 1955, in Mississippi, to Lonnie Holmes and Margaret Feathers Holmes.
Dale is survived by her loving husband, David McMillen, her devoted daughter Dana Stewart of Mantachie, and her son David Michael McMillen of Plantersville. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren. Dale is remembered fondly by her sisters Jo Margaret Christman of Mooreville and Alicen Holmes of Ripley, as well as her brother Harry Holmes of Mooreville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Holmes and Margaret Feathers Holmes, and by her two brothers Garland Holmes and Dennis Holmes.
Dale found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for watching westerns, with Gunsmoke being a favorite. However, her greatest source of happiness came from spending quality time with her grandchildren and beloved family.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Dale's life will be held at a later date. In this time of mourning, Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the McMillen family and offer support during their time of need.
Dale's warmth, kindness, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply cherished and will be dearly missed.
